Our 5,000th Facebook follower comes to visit us
Our 5,000th Facebook follower came to the Human Rights Information Centre. We met her with candies, cookies, tea, gifts, and smiles.
You are welcome to meet Alina Bo, 6th grade student of the Psychology Department of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Currently, she interns at the “Paragraph” social consulting center.
Alina says she saw the figure of 4,999, when she was clicking to follow the page of the Human Rights Information Centre, “I thought it was a psychological trick, I mean ‘click and become a 5,000th follower…” the girl smiles. It turned out it was a different story.
“Your portal is interesting to me from a professional point of view. I monitor the news on your website and find out a lot of interesting things for myself,” our guest says.
Alina also said that she was a moving spirit of the social project “Student Social Project Agency” where the students create new social initiatives and strive to change the world.
Among the gifts, Alina was most interested in The Forbidden Book (authored by Human Rights Information Center communications director Maryna Hovorukhina).
“You can’t even imagine how it is important for me now! I want to tell so many things to the world, but I still lack knowledge of how to present my NGO and reach the journalists. You have no idea of how much I need this book!” the girl said.
Alina also got a brand T-shirt, a bag “Discrimination Restricts. Resist!” and a bunch of interesting books. “I’m jealous of your 5,555th follower! What presents are you going to give then if I’ve got so many things?” the girl smiled.
