In 2016, graduated from the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in “International Law”. In 2016-2019, studied public international law and human rights at the master’s degree at the University of Strasbourg and international litigation at the master’s degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Has been working in the field of human rights protection since 2017. Has work experience at the Secretariat of the European Court of Human Rights, the Human Rights Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. In parallel, defends the rights of victims of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict at the European Court of Human Rights as a lawyer of a human rights NGO and advises a member of the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation to PACE on international issues.
Yaroslava believes: “Respect for human rights is about values that are important to me personally. I am glad to be able to participate in the defense of these values not only legally but also in advocacy as part of a team that is sincerely passionate about its activity.”
