Crimea Global 3.0: Holding On, Speaking Out — Scheduled for Next Week
We would like to remind you that on 17–18 November, the Third International Conference Crimea Global: Understanding Ukraine through the South will be held.

This year, the conference will take place under the theme “Holding On, Speaking Out” and will convene researchers, journalists, activists, and representatives of civil society from across the globe. The participants will engage in discussions on resilience, freedom, the shared legacy of colonial histories, and contemporary challenges to peace and justice.
Over its previous two editions, Crimea Global has established itself as a forum for open and substantive dialogue between Ukraine and countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Launched initially to facilitate exchanges beyond traditional channels, the initiative has now developed into a platform fostering genuine mutual understanding and the exploration of new avenues for international solidarity.
The program of this year’s conference will address a wide range of topics, including war and technology, human rights, media responsibility, women’s leadership, postcolonial reflection, and international justice. The primary objective is to demonstrate how Ukraine’s experience resonates with those of other societies affected by violence, imperial ambitions, or repression, while also providing shared frameworks and tools to overcome such challenges.
