List of support programs for internally displaced persons
The list of support programs for internally displaced persons is a publication prepared by the Coalition of organisations working on the protection of the rights of people affected by the armed aggression against Ukraine. The Coalition regularly receives numerous inquiries about which state support programs are available to internally displaced persons (IDPs), as millions of citizens have been forced to leave their homes and have lost housing, jobs, and social ties. Under such circumstances, state support is often crucial for the integration and adaptation of IDPs in host communities.
The document compiles and systematises a range of measures and support programs aimed at assisting internally displaced persons — from financial assistance and compensation for damaged or destroyed housing to housing, credit, social, educational, and economic programs. The material includes descriptions of eligibility conditions, step-by-step procedures for obtaining assistance, and links to official sources, making it a practical reference guide for IDPs and professionals working in the field of social protection.
