Short description:

Today was the Day of Action for #TheTaken campaign.

A leading Ukrainian Human Rights organisation (ZMINA) has alleged that the Russian government is responsible for targeted abductions to silence key voices and intimidate Ukrainian civilians. Publishing a list of civilians that have been abducted ZMINA is demanding their immediate release and urging the public to help publicise their plight. To support this cause, on 29 March, ZMINA is holding an event in Lviv, where there will be a screening of a short film about the civilians that have been abducted, which will be projected onto the side of a building in Lviv. A spokesperson from ZMINA will speak at the event about the abductions and the work ZMINA has been doing to identify who has been taken and call for their release.  The spokesperson will be available for interviews.
