Author of a series of materials on human rights and the corrupt activities of officials.

Mykola Myrny: “My heart sometimes marvels at the violence of the world it lives in. At the same time, it sees that this world is unique. This world is chaotic, dynamic, brutal, and yet full of love and inspiration.

I was once detained by the police for daring to ask questions. Do you think that corruption and authoritarianism can silence my heart? No, it is too stubborn to surrender the freedom to ask questions.

My heart resonates with Mahatma Gandhi’s words: ‘First, they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.’ And my heart is ready to persevere in this.

Do you think that human rights are boring? Then you either do not understand what they are, or you are more naive than my heart. I invite you into this world, a world where human rights are the only way to understand yourself”.
