Before Russia’s full-scale invasion, Anastasiia worked in the business sector, gaining experience in team management and organising workflows. The war prompted her to reassess her professional priorities and inspired her to pursue work that makes a tangible difference to people’s lives. This led her to the human rights sector. She believes that protecting human rights is not an abstract idea but the foundation of a just society, both in Ukraine and around the world.
She works on projects across various areas of human rights, with a particular focus on human rights in the context of Ukraine’s European integration.
Originally from Kharkiv, she remains deeply attached to her hometown. She believes Kharkiv is one of the best cities in the world and is always ready to make a convincing case for it.
She enjoys books, sport, nature and spending time with loved ones. She is interested in how the human body works and strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but firmly believes there should always be room for a sweet treat.
