Yevhen is from Luhansk. Graduated from the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. In January 2014, joined Luhansk Euromaidan. In May 2014, became a co-founder of the East SOS organization. In July 2014, had to leave occupied Luhansk and moved to Kyiv.

In 2014-2022, worked at East SOS organization, first, as the coordinator of humanitarian direction, then coordinated the efforts of monitoring direction.

In 2016-2022, organized and participated in 8 international monitoring missions to Ukraine to document and record human rights violations during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

In 2019, participated in the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as a candidate for MP in the 112th constituency in Luhansk region.

Coordinated the work of platforms for interaction between representatives of the security agencies of Ukraine and civil society organizations at the national and regional levels for the purpose of protecting human rights and freedoms in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Since the beginning of 2022, has been working with foreign media outlets: SIC TV (Portugal), TeleGiornale 3 (Italy), CZECH TV (Czech Republic), Radio Canada Media (Canada), Libération (France), TV 2 (Denmark), Delfi (Estonia), Politiko (USA), Picture Agency PRESSCOV (Poland), Hiropress (Japan), Le Temps (Switzerland), Česká televize (Czech Republic), La7 Attualita (Italy).

Studies English and learns to play the guitar. He has devoted the past 9 years of his life to eastern Ukraine, trying to change society in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the attitude of the entire country to these regions.
